Emergo Therapeutics, a company developing treatment options for flu-like illnesses, has closed its first financing round of $12 million in venture funding. Rex Health Ventures led the round, with backing from Wolfpack Investors Network, Carolina Angel Network, and Hatteras Venture Partners' Venture Capital Multiplier Fund.
